July........Already!

Seriously, where does the time go.....it's already July, one half the year gone!  A lot has happened the first half of 2012....in January we were anxiously awaiting the arrival of our first grand child and learned our oldest child is diabetic, he's 31 and in excellent shape!!

February 1 she arrived, Preslee Jo - 7 lbs 1 oz, such an exciting time and so amazing to be a grandparent!

March my parents celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary!   I hosted Bunco and also broke my leg requiring surgery, rod, pin and physical therapy....thank goodness my mother was around to help me out, cooked, cleaned, and ran errands for us!  What would I do without my mother!

My parent's 56th Anniversary dinner!

April we learn we are going to be grandparents again!  This time our daugher is pregnant and and they are expecting a baby around the first of November!  Also our youngest son got married....at our house, while I have a broke leg.....but the wedding was beautiful!

Maid of Honor, Bride and mother of bride

May....well not much happened in May other than I was released by my doctor to go back to work and continue physical therapy, the leg and walking is getting better but not 100% yet! We did have a good Mother's Day weekend and Memorial Day weekend.

Me and Peyton -Mother's Day weekend!

Preston, Brittany and Preslee Jo mother's day weekend!

June we hosted a "gender reveal" party for our daughter and son-in-law to announce and find out what they would be having....hopefully I will have a few pictures to share. This was the neatest little party and so stress free. Also in June my husband and I celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary - he was sick that whole week so we only went out to eat, but he is better now.

It's a BOY!

Before the gender reveal...another post on this coming!

Big girl sitting up at almost 5 months old

Preslee is growing so fast, she is the best little baby, talks and smiles, laughs out loud, sits up really well and is starting to roll over. At her 4 month doctor visit, she weighed 12 lbs and 14 oz of course she cried when she got her shots but not long and she didn't really feel too bad afterwards!

We have spent a few weekends on the lake and enjoying the boat and family and friends. Also, we are looking forward to celebrating the 4th of July with family and friends, grilling ribs, chicken and doing all the trimming....including watermelon! We will be off the rest of the week making it a five day holiday!

Happy 4th of July everyone!
